My 1st Sunflower!

I woke up this morning to find that my sunflowers that I planted last week in a seed tray have already started to sprout! I guess this is the feeling you get that is often talked about in gardening books!! I'm thrilled!! I investigated the tray a bit more and noticed another 4 have started to pop up too!! I planted 8 seeds so things are going very well! :)

Day Eight

Today was a small rescue day as I managed to save "Gary" (Dave's plant) from being pot-bound. Roots were completely squished in so a new pot was definately in need. On the allotment side of things we dug the ground some more (Quelle surprise!) and Karl planted more strawberries. I discovered a porcelain baby in the ground which was weird....and it had no head....which is weirder!! See pic.
I've planted some sunflower seeds in a tray and put them on the kitchen window sill to see if they grow...or not?! I've also taken some Rosemary cuttings from the allotment to make my own little Rosemary bush.
